I will start off by saying that this review is for a funeral that was 2 months ago, I am sorry Tom for making this belated review. This started of with the death of my grandpa. We arranged with the funeral service and it went quite well! This funeral home has made our family feel comforted in a time of solemn. The funeral service went great especially for it being in Charlotte. The celebration of life was apparently beautiful (I was sick for it). I want to thank everyone here for making such beautiful plans out of such a tough time for our family.

My experience with Tom and all the staff at Church Street could not have been more smooth. They made a challenging time for me a lot easier with guidance and compassion. My Mother in Law passed away while my father in law was in the hospital. It was left to me for last minute final plans. Our small family service and burial was a sad and yet beautiful moment. Thanks for all the help and compassion.

I wish I could express how much we adore Tom and those who worked with us during the loss of my Pop. From the moment they were called and arrived in my mother’s home, Tom sat in front of her, on her level and spoke with such empathy, that our family was instantly connected. During the next few days, we felt cared for like we were the only family they were involved with in that moment. Everything was perfect. I can’t say that enough… there were minor details that others would’ve overlooked that were treated with the same importance as the major areas of concern. It was like a well-oiled machine. Not only did they capture the personality of our family but they also detailed the interactions and services so that my Pop was served and remembered through the whole process as intimately as if they had a personal relationship with him themselves. We did not have to worry or even ask for anything because it was more than provided for by these warm, wonderful souls. We were blessed during the hardest time with their care and compassion and we are grateful to them all and especially Tom.

We lost my dear mother recently and really did not know where to begin. I'm so glad we chose Church Street Funeral and Cremation for her. Tom and Amber were so kind, thoughtful and patient with us, showing us many different options and answering so many questions. They are compassionate and thorough, and left no detail unattended. I would highly recommend their services to anyone who must plan end of life arrangements.

Tom is an amazing person and I would recommend him to anyone to be by your side in a situation such as losing a loved one. You couldn't ask for a nicer person to help aide you through a difficult time. I can't speak highly enough about Tom!

We are in the process of taking care of my father's arrangements and have been working with Tom - he has been very caring and responsive and has gone out of his way to be helpful. Our family appreciates all of the support that we have received.
I will also say, we had previously used the facility on Church Street for my mom's arrangements about six years ago and I could not believe how different the place looks now - so much brighter with lots of thoughtful touches, and they even have a room now for receptions that is very nice and fully equipped with ovens, a fridge and freezer, coffee makers, etc. Highly recommend checking them out!

Tom, Amber, and Chae along with their very attentive staff at Church Street Funeral & Cremation were a great comfort to our family during a difficult time. The Church Street staff were professional and prepared with options and suggestions that resulted in the perfect personalized funeral service. Their interest in who my mother was as a person and attention to detail was certainly noticed and much appreciated. The renovation of the chapel and gathering rooms was extremely well done; and the added reception space was the perfect venue for reminiscing with extended family and friends. It is a great comfort to have the wonderful resources Church Street Funeral & Cremation available to our community.

Outstanding guidance, care, and access throughout this time of grief in our family's life. In addition, the veteran service for my father who served in WWII was most moving and greatly appreciated. Tom took care of every detail and even more with impeccable professionalism, dignity, and compassion.

The place looks much better than it has in many years. It is comforting to have a good funeral home on Church Street in the heart of Hendersonville again! Amber and Tom are compassionate people who were ready and willing to help my family in a time of need.

Wonderful staff. Amber is very friendly and kind. Most importantly they are knowledgeable and go above and beyond to welcome and make you feel comfortable. The newly remodeled facilities are spectacular.

I went into this funeral home and was greeted by very friendly people. The smiles and genuine care I felt helped me throughout this painstaking and life changing process in my life. Amber gave me a tour and the place looked amazing, very clean and well put together. She patiently walked me through the experience of grieving after a loss of a loved one, a pain almost everyone experiences throughout some point in their life. I frequently remember the memory of my loved one’s funeral. I felt broken and lost this day, however Ambers support gave me hope through my pain.
