Dudley Dean Allen, 80, of Hendersonville, died
peacefully and went home to be with his heavenly
Father on Tuesday evening, April 11, 2023, in the
presence of his loving family.

Mr. Allen was born in Nashville, TN on Friday March
26, 1943, to the late John William and Lois (Davis)
Allen. He married his loving wife of 53 years, the
former LeNorah Jane Kinsey of Daytona Beach, FL.

Mr. Allen graduated at the top of his class at Kansas
University and the University of Florida School of
Law. He applied his expertise as a JAG officer in the
US Navy, and in private practice in Jacksonville, FL.
His unique ability to understand and empathize with
his many clients earned him great respect in the
community. He was a faithful and devout Christian,
and his integrity and character were always present.
He also served as a foster parent for many years,
which he considered a great investment. Mr. Allen’s
legacy will forever be respected by all who knew
him.

In addition to his wife, Jane, he leaves behind to
cherish his memory, his devoted children, Dudley
Dean Allen, Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth of Asheville,
NC, LeNorah Elizabeth, affectionately known as
“Biz” Allen of Hendersonville, NC, and John William
Stephen Allen of Hendersonville, NC. Also surviving
are his four grandchildren Vito, Berto, Owen, and
Sadie. In addition to his beloved parents, he is
preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

At the request of the family, there will be a service to
celebrate Mr. Allen’s life – to be announced.

Memorial contributions may be offered on behalf of
Mr. Allen to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Dudley will be forever missed by his loving wife,
children, family, and many dear friends.

May God Grant Him Eternal Rest.
