Shirley Ann (Osteen) Cable, 87, died early Sunday afternoon, February 26, 2023, at Advent Health Hospital in Fletcher, NC. She was born Monday, February 24, 1936, in Henderson County, NC to late Charles Massena and Edith (Jones) Osteen.
Mrs. Cable attended Flat Rock High School and worked 50 years in the restaurant industry as a server. She was a faithful and devoted member of Upward Christian Fellowship in Hendersonville, NC.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her loving children, Walter Ray Satterfield, Jr., Paul Jeffrey Satterfield, Beverly Kay Satterfield, Kathy Rene Beckett and her husband, Tom and Kenneth Steven Jackson and his wife, Donna all of Hendersonville, NC; her brother, David Howard Osteen and his wife, Jean of Horseshoe, NC. She will be missed by her 14 grandchildren, 17 great- grandchildren as well as 5 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her beloved parents, she is preceded in death by her son, William Mark Satterfield; two husbands, Walter R. Satterfield and Kenneth L. Jackson; two grandsons, Jeremiah Gabriel Satterfield and Jacob Israel Satterfield; a sister, Patricia Stepp and a brother, Norman Osteen, Sr. and a daughter-in-law, Billie Nix Satterfield.
A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Cable will be held at eleven o’clock Saturday morning, March 4, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Hendersonville with Pastor Steve Scoggins officiating. Burial will follow in Shepherd Memorial Park in Hendersonville, NC. The family will receive guests in the church sanctuary, from 10:00 to 10:45.

Shirley will be forever missed by her loving and devoted family and many dear friends. May God Grant Her Eternal Rest.
